Privacy Policy

Next AI Lens ("we", "us", or "our") built PictureLens as a free, ad-supported application. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use PictureLens.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

PictureLens does not require account registration. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:

• Your name, email address, or other personal identifiers
• Your photos or photo content
• EXIF metadata extracted from your photos
• Your real-time geographic location

2. Local Processing Only

All photo analysis and EXIF metadata extraction happens entirely on your device. Your photos are never uploaded to any server. When you select photos, they are processed in memory and the results are displayed locally.

3. GPS and Map Display

If a photo contains GPS coordinates in its EXIF data, PictureLens can display that location on a map. This uses the coordinates embedded in the photo file — PictureLens does not access your device's real-time location. Map rendering is provided by:

• Google Maps (Android, international version)
• Apple MapKit (iOS)

These map services may collect usage data according to their own privacy policies. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy and Apple's Privacy Policy for details.

4. Advertising

PictureLens displays ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use certain information for ad personalization, including:

• Device identifiers (advertising ID)
• IP address
• General device information (model, OS version)

You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings:

• iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking
• Android: Settings > Privacy > Ads

5. Photo Library Access

PictureLens requests access to your photo library solely to let you select photos for EXIF analysis. We use the system photo picker, which grants access only to the photos you explicitly select. We do not browse or scan your entire photo library.

6. Data Storage

PictureLens stores only your app preferences (theme mode, language setting) locally on your device using standard platform storage. No personal data is stored.

7. Children's Privacy

PictureLens is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
